Remarks:   Mrs. Mary Howard Ream, aged 85, widow of Jacob W. Ream and the oldest member of the Roxbury Church of the Brethren, died yesterday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Livingston, 128 Hershberger street, Eighth ward, where she resided for the last two years. Mrs. Ream was born in Somerset county, October 30, 1842, daughter of the late Alexander and Magdalena Howard. Her husband, Jacob ream, was a member of Co. K, Two Hundred and Sixth regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers. He enlisted Sept. 3, 1864 and was honorably discharged Jan 26, 1865. His death occurred Sept. 22, 1890, in Upper Yoder township. Mrs. Ream is survived by the following children: Etta, wife of Nelson Mishler, Sell street; Simon Ream, rear 1298 Franklin street; Sadie, widow of Joseph Young, Kelso; Lavina, wife of R. M. Livingston, Hershberger street; Frank Ream, 302 Bedford street. A son, Ross Ream, died two years ago. 51 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Roxbury Church of the Brethren, in charge of the Rev. Homer Blough and the Rev. E. M. Detwiler. Interment will be in Berkley cemetery.
