SPROULL, Frank

SOURCE NOTATION:
Johnstown Tribune, 19 Sep 1878, Page Last; c4, Contributed by Lynne Canterbury

Yesterday morning Frank Sproull, and his younger brother, were crossing the Kiskiminetas River, near Freeport, in a small flat-bottomed boat, and when near the middle of the stream they were thrown into the water by the boat capsizing. The former was a poor swimmer, and soon went to the bottom, but the younger saved himself. Mr. Frank Sproull, who was the son of a well-known Presbyterian minister, leaves a wife and two children to mourn his taking off.
