A young man named McCann whose mother resides near Lilly Station and who was injured on Friday last while working in Piperís coal bank by the coal and slate falling on him, crushing one of his arms between the shoulder and elbow, necessitating amputation on Tuesday, died Wednesday morning. He was unmarried.
