|LEE, Estrus L. South Fork, Aug. 20: The funeral of Estrus L. Lee, who was fatally injured at the Penn Lumber Company's mills here last Thursday and expired at the Cambria Hospital, Johnstown, on Saturday forenoon, took place from the Methodist Episcopal Church here yesterday afternoon. The sermon was preached by the Rev. W. T. Robinson, pastor of the charge, and the remains were laid to rest in South Fork Cemetery. |
Estrus L. Lee was born forty-five years ago in Center County, this state and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Lee of Irvona, Clearfield County, who survive him, with two brothers, W. O. and L. F. Lee, both of this place. Estrus Lee was married twenty years ago to a Northumberland County woman, who survives, together with two sons, Walter, the eldest, aged sixteen years, and James, both at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Estrus Lee and sons formerly resided at Windber where the father was an employee of Kelley Brothers, locating in this place three years ago. The deceased was a member of Windber Tent, Knights of the Maccabees, in which he carried an insurance policy payable to his widow. Mr. Lee was highly esteemed by all who knew him.
