|LOST RACE WITH DEATH.|
Bedford County Miner Dies in Restaurant in Altoona.
Altoona., Pa., Oct. 10. - In a race to reach home before death claimed him, John Turnstall, aged thirty-six years, a coal digger of Six Mile Run, Bedford County, collapsed here Sunday night. He was being removed from the Roaring Spring Sanitarium and on arrival here he was assisted to a Greek restaurant. He fell asleep while there and when an effort was made to arouse him early Monday morning he was found to be dead.
