William Hadden, an aged and highly respected citizen of Croyle Township, died suddenly of paralysis on Sunday last, aged eighty one years and eleven days. About thirty years ago he came to this country from England. For many years he resided in this county, and endeared himself to his neighbors by his strict honesty and Christian conduct. He was a member of the United Brethren Church. Rev. George Wagoner, of this city, conducted the funeral services, on August 22d, in the Mount Olive Church, before a large assemblage of friends and neighbors. The remains were interred in Coleman’s burying ground.
