|CHILTON, Richard, of South Fork, died at 7 o'clock last evening at Cambria Hospital. He was taken ill Sunday with intestinal trouble and was hurried to the hospital to undergo an operation in the hope of saving his live. He was too weak to permit of the operation, however, and expired last evening. |
Richard Chilton, was about thirty years of age and had lived at South Fork for a number of years. He was an agent for the Prudential Life Insurance Company. His wife, two children, and several brothers and sisters survive.
The man's body was taken in charge by Undertaker Henderson, who shipped it to South Fork, where George Brothers, undertakers, assumed charge. The time of the funeral has not yet been fixed, but it is understood that the Knights of Pythias, of which deceased was a member, will take part in the services.
