|EDWARD SWEENEY DIES OF RECENT INJURIES|
New Florence, Oct. 26--Edward Sweeney, of near West Fairfield, who was badly injured by a runaway a few weeks ago, died about 3 o'clock this morning, following a second operation. One of his legs was broken so badly that amputation was necessary. Gangrene then developed and another amputation was performed.
Mr. Sweeney was 30 years old and leaves his widow and two children. He was an Elder in the United Presbyterian Church and was well liked by the people in this vicinity.
Funeral services will be held at the Sweeney home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and interment will be at West Fairfield.
