CUSTER, Mary E. (Davis)

CUSTER, Mrs. J. C., aged 65 years, a well-known resident of this place, died very suddenly at her home at 5:30 o'clock last evening. Her death was due to a stroke, which she suffered a short time before her death. The deceased was a widow, her husband having preceded her to the grave some years ago. The following children survive: Edward, John, and Harry Custer, all at home: William and James Custer, Mrs. Harry Reese and Mrs. Samuel Walls, all of this place, and Mrs. E. J. Anders, 629 Wood street, and Mrs. S. T. Johns, 427 Horner street, both of Johnstown. Two adopted grandsons, William and Charles Custer also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Evangelical Church. Burial will be made in the South Fork Cemetery, in charge of George Bros., local undertakers.
