RICHARD HARRIS.

Richard Harris, a well-known resident of this city many years ago, passed away June 4 at his home in Bueblo, Col., where he resided for some 40 years. He was born in Wales 70 years ago, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Harris, who came to America and settled in Johnstown long before the Civil War. Richard Harris worked for the Cambria Iron Company during his residence here. He and Miss Margaret Reese, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Reese, were married in Johnstown over 40 years ago, when they left here for the State of Colorado. Mrs. Harris' death occurred last December. Mr. Harris is survived by a daughter, three sons, a sister, Mrs. Mary Harris Meredith, of Braddock, and five brothers -- Morgan, of East End, Pittsburg; Daniel, of Braddock; David, of Scranton; Thomas T., of Westmont, and Isaac J., of the Second Ward. The parents of Richard Harris died in this city where three brothers -- William, Henry, and John T. Harris, also passed away.
