William Davison.
The funeral of William Davison, the young man who was fatally burned with molten metal at the Carnegie Steel Company's plant at Donora on Monday, took place at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary Davison, of Franklin. Services were conducted by the Rev. B. L. Seneff, pastor of the Conemaugh U. B. Church, and interment was made in Headrick's Cemetery.
The young man was injured at 1:30 Sunday afternoon, lingering in great misery for about half an hour. The remains were shipped to this city and turned over to Undertaker Bearer, of Conemaugh, who prepared them for burial. Later they were taken to the mother's home in Franklin. The deceased is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Susan and Mrs. Mary Vickroy, both at home; Robert. of Dunlo; Harrison D., of Seward, and Thomas, also of Seward. |
