W. H. PIPER DEAD.

Operator of Coal Mines About Benscreek Expires in Philadelphia.

Lilly, Oct. 10. - M. K. and W. L. Piper, of this place, on Saturday morning last received word of the death of their brother, W. H. Piper, who passed away in Philadelphia. W. H. Piper had been in the coal business at Benscreek, this county, for the past twenty-six years, and he was at the head of the W. H. Piper Coal Company. He leaves a wife and one son and one daughter. W. L. Piper and M. K. Piper and his son Walter attended the funeral at Philadelphia yesterday afternoon.
