Katharina Margaretha Mueller Wolf, wife of John Philip Wolf, died yesterday morning at her home on David street, Dale Borough, the first death in the family in 38 years. Her death was due to paralysis, she having been stricken last Tuesday. She was in her 72d year. Funeral services will be held at the Wolf home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon by the Rev. E. A. Tappert, pastor of Zion's German Lutheran Church, with burial in Grandview Cemetery.

The deceased was born in Germany in the fall of 1844. She and John Philip Wolf were married in the Fatherland, immigrating to America and settling in Johnstown some 30 years ago. Both Mr. and Mrs Wolf enjoyed good health, despite their advanced age, until very recently, when Mr. Wolf fell down a flight of stairs and suffered a fracture of his left arm at the elbow. Mrs. Wolf was working in her garden when she was stricken last week. She never regained consciousness.

Surviving Mrs. Wolf, besides her husband, are the following children: Charles, of Clarion street, Westmont; William, of 203 David street; Louis of Clarion street, Westmont; Henry, of Third avenue, Westmont; and Otto, who resides at home. Otto Wolf is Baseball Manager for the Amateur Recreation Commission. In addition, 23 grandchildren survive Mrs. Wolf.
