|Remarks:||MRS. MABLE WOODLEY DIES AT 72
Mrs. Mable Woodley, 72, of 316 5th Ave., Altoona, died at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 12, at home after an extended illness.
She was born Nov. 27, 1901, in Elder Township, Cambria County, the daughter of Charles and Agnes Yeager. She was preceded in death by husband Francis on Jan. 24, 1931. She is survived by these children: Charles and Mrs. Lenore Spaid, both of Altoona; John and Jess, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; Walter, Baltimore, Md.; and Mrs. Margaret Young, Castile, N.Y.; also 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mable was the sister of Mrs. Kathleen Quevy and William Yeager, both of Patton; Charles Yeager, Florida; Archie Yeager and Mrs. Dolores Dillen, Hastings; Miss Betty Yeager, South Mountain, Pa.; and Fred Yeager, Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Altoona.
Friends were received on Saturday at the Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th Ave., Altoona and on Sunday at the Easly Funeral Home in Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Hastings. Interment followed at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
