|Remarks:||Luke Kirsch, 77, Spangler, died Saturday, Apr. 6, at Altoona General Hospital. He was born in Nicktown Mar. 24, 1886, son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Peters) Kirsch.
Surviving are his widow, former Annie Lieb, and these children: Miss Martha, Spangler; Mrs. Dvota Ratchford, Baltimore, Md.; Max, Brookfield, Ohio; Paul, Nicktown, and Miss Betty, Baltimore. There are 13 grandchildren.
He was a brother of Frank, Pittsburgh; Larry, Walter and Martin, all of Spangler; Mrs. Minnie Brady, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; Mrs. Marie Merris, Erie, Pa., and Mrs. Helen McCormick, Johnstown.
He was a member of the Holy Cross Holy Name Society.
Friends were received at John N. Easly Funeral Home, where Rosary was recited Monday. Funeral Mass was held Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Valentine Koehler, OSB. Interment was in the church cemetery.
