CARROLLTOWN, May 21, 1921--William Wasser, aged 78 years, a lifelong resident of this community, died at his home here last evening. The deceased was born in Carroll Township on January 21, 1843, and was a prominent farmer here for many years. He had been retired, having moved there about 16 years ago.
Mr. Wasser is survived by his widow Mrs. Magdaline (Yost) Wasser, with whom he was married here 48 years ago, and by the following children: Mrs. Frank Hertzog, Clearfield Township; Mrs. Joseph Burley, Bradley Junction; Mrs. M.Allison of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Mrs. D.J. Stoltz, Mrs. D.A. Weakland, both of this place. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. John Schettig, of Altoona, and Mrs. Frank Schettig, of Bradley Junction.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock next Tuesday morning at St. Benedict Catholic Church, with a solemn high mass of requiem. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
