Edward Davis
Died on Thursday, 3d inst., at the residence of his parents, in Blacklick township, Edward Davis, aged about 26 years. The disease of the deceased was typhoid fever, contracted in the service of the United States. He had belonged to Co. A, 11th Penna. Reserves, from its organization over two years ago up to within six months since when he was discharged. He bears the reputation of having been an estimable young man and a good soldier. A martyr in the sacred cause of liberty, may his memory live forever. |
