Ehrenfeld Woman Expired Suddenly

Mrs. W. B. Alexander Succumbs of Heart Trouble; Funeral Tomorrow Afternoon

Ehrenfeld, Jan 2 - Mrs. Janet Gray Alexander, aged 52 years, 10 months and 8 days, wife of W. B. Alexander, the well-known superintendent of the Pennsylvania Coal & Coke Corp mines at Beaverdale, Nanty Glo and here, died very suddenly at her home on Monday evening about 8 o'clock. She had paid a social call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Madigan, this place, and shortly after returning home she was taken suddenly ill. Mrs. Alexander's death was due to an attack of heart trouble.

The deceased was born in Scotland and came to this country with her parents when she was 2 yrs old. She was a daughter of Mrs. Robert Gray, of Uniontown, who survives. Mrs. Alexander's father expired several months ago. Besides her mother Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband, several children and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held from the house at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and will be conducted by the Rev. J. C. Brown, pastor of the South Fork M. E. Church. Interment will be made in the Summerhill Cemetery.
