Nancy E. Adams, wife of Jacob Adams, died last evening of a complication of diseases at her home in West Taylor Township, aged thirty five years and five months. Mrs. Adams underwent two operations, but failed to rally from the second one, which was performed recently.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Eckels, deceased, and was a sister of Deliah, wife of George Cush; Rachel, wife of William Rager; Rebecca S., wife of Isaac Davis, and Flora, wife of George Mitchell, all of West Taylor Township, and Jonathan Eckels, the only brother. Besides these, Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband and five sons - Woodward, Jonathan, Spurgeon, Louis and Morrell.

The funeral will take place from the United Evangelical Church in Tanneryville at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, when the Rev. W. A. Wissinger, of the Conemaugh U. E. Church, and the Rev. M. L. DeVaux, of the Mt. Pleasant U. E. Church, will conduct the obsequies. Interment will be made in Benshoff's Cemetery.
