Emerson Jones

Emerson Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Jones of 303 Pine Street, Johnstown, died at the home of his parents Thursday night after having drank a quantity of carbolic acid with suicidal intent. The young man, it is said, was despondent because of reverses in a love affair. He was about 24 years of age. His parents were formerly residents of Cambria township, near Ebensburg, and are well known here. The deceased is survived by two brothers, Stanton W. and Lloyd M. Jones, both at home, in addition to his parents. The body was brought to Ebensburg this morning for interment in Lloyd's cemetery.
