Stoyestown, July 18--Mrs. Lucy (Custer) Penrod, aged 80 years, widow of David Penrod, died at her home here about 3 o'clock this morning, death being due to diseases incident to old age.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning in the local Reformed Church and will be in charge of the Rev. L. N. Wilson, pastor. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows' Cemetery. Undertaker J. S. Blanset has prepared the body for burial.
The deceased was born on June 10, 1842. She was married to David Penrod on June 16, 1868. Mr. Penrod died 24 years ago. Mrs. Penrod is survived by one sister, Mrs. Catherine Jones, aged 88 years, Stoyestown, and two brothers, John Custer, residing here, and Charles Custer, who lives near Altoona.
