Remarks:   BANTLY - Richard Clair, 72, of Richland, died May 12, 1991, at Memorial Hospital. Born February 9, 1919 in Johnstown. The son of Roy and Lulu (Baumgardner) Bantly. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Violet Folstick; second wife, the former Dorothy Boyer and sister, Lois McConnell. Survived by wife, the former Janet Crum and these children: Carlyn, wife of Richard Toth, Ogletown; Beverly, wife of James Hummel, Roanoke Rapids, NC; Deborah Chaffin, Daytona Beach, Fla.; George, married to the former Melanie Lees, Salix; and Richard, at home; also 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brother of Bernice, wife of Curtis Owen, Johnstown. Retired from the Cambria County Transit Authority. Former owner of Dick's Gulf Service. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Second Presbyterian Church and the AARP. Friends were received 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday and will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, Scalp Ave., Richland where service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, the Rev. Dr. Robert N. Van Wyk. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
