WILSON, Clarissa Jane (Fyock)

Mrs. Clarissa Jane (Fyock) Wilson, wife of Scott S. Wilson, of 1201 Bedford street, died last evening at 5:10 o'clock in the Memorial Hospital at the age of 53 years. Death was due to a complication of diseases, Mrs. Wilson having been ill for a period of several years. Four operations were performed during the past two years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren where the deceased was a member, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. W. D. Keller. Interment will be held in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Conemaugh Township on February 15, 1868, the daughter of Abraham and Nancy (Varner) Fyock. Miss Clarissa Jane Fyock and Scott S. Wilson were united in marriage on May 27, 1889, by the Rev. David Hildebrand, then pastor of the Conemaugh Church of the Brethren, of which the deceased was a member at the time. Mrs. Wilson was associated with the Ladies Aid Society and the Ladies Bible Class of the Walnut Grove congregation
Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by two children - Forest, at home and Clair W., residing in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Wilson is survived by one grandchild and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Mills, wife of H Mills, of 1201 Bedford street; Mrs. Sadie Strayer, wife of Benjamin Strayer, of Kelso; Samuel Fyock, of 966 Bedford street; J. C. Fyock, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and J. W. Fyock, of Polo, Ill.
The deceased was a patient at the Memorial Hospital since March 6. The body was turned over to the John Henderson Undertaking Company to prepare for burial.
