Lawrence Frederick Reffner, aged 17 years, died yesterday morning at the home of his parents, George W. and Mary E. (Grove) Reffner, at Echo.

For some time he had been employed as a carpenter's apprentice for the P.R.R. at Conemaugh. Surviving are his parents, a sister, Ona, wife of Harvey W. Teeter, of Echo; a brother, Orville, at home, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grove, of Echo. The funeral procession will leave the Reffner home at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon for Wesley chapel, where the services will be conducted by the Rev. George H. Jones of the Conemaugh Brethren Church, of which he was a member. Interment will be in the chapel cemetery. The young man also was identified with Conemaugh Council No. 137, Jr. O.U.A.M. This society will leave Custer's Hall, Conemaugh, at 12 o'clock tomorrow to attend the services.
