W. H. Rose of Rose Brothers Automobile Company, Greensburg, died Friday evening at his home after a weeks illness. The deceased was born in Westmoreland County, this state, on February 5, 1880. He removed to Greensburg with his parents in 1895. He attended the Mercersburg Academy and Washington & Jefferson College where he was a member of the Phi Kappy Sigma fraternity and played on the 1901 football team. Since leaving college he had been engaged in real estate and automobile business in Greensburg. In 1903 he was married with Miss Ada N. Oncus, of Greensburg. Besides his widow he leaves four children; his mother, Mrs. Mary E. Rose; one sister, Mrs. W. H. Myers, of Indiana, and three brothers, E. L., George E., and M. L. Rose.
