Elmer Ellsworth Rose, only son of Noah and Mary E. Hess Rose, died at 11 o'clock this morning at the Rose home No 117 I Street, Nineteenth Ward, aged twenty-two years one month and nineteen days. He was born in the Fourteenth Ward and had been working for a number of years for Henry Burrell in the Cambria Blacksmith shop, where he took sick last Friday with typhoid fever. He became unconscious at an early hour this morning and died without regaining consciousness.
The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, when the Rev W. F. Huster, pastor of the F street M. E. Church, will be made in Grand-View Cemetery. The deceased was a member of Morrellville Lodge No 941 Royal Arcanum and the Foresters of America.
