|Mrs. Hamilton Dead |
In the death of Mrs. Mary A. Little Hamilton, who expired Wednesday evening in Johnstown, came the first break in a series of fine generations in a direct line.
Mrs. Hamilton was a native of Woodbury, this state, having been born there Sept. 6, 1844. While yet a little girl she was brought to Cambria county by her parents, the late P. J. Little and Mrs. Susan Little, and lived for a long time near the present town of Loretto. May 30, 1864, Miss Mary A. Little was united in marriage to John H. Hamilton in Loretto by the Rev. Father Reynolds of Loretto. In 1880 Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton moved to Johnstown.
There were four children. There are ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The great grandchildren are descendents of Mrs. Dyer and W. H. Hamilton. A brother, W. A. B. Little, resides at Loretto. P. J. Little of Ebensburg is a nephew.
