GRIFFITH, Samuel Furman

Cherrytree, Dec 29, --Funeral services for Samuel Furman Griffith, aged 72 years, who died here at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Llamer, on Christmas Day, death being due to tuberculosis, were held yesterday afternoon at the Llamer residence. Services were in charge of Rev. Mr. Nelson, pastor of the local United Evangelical Church. Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Undertaker M. E. Stiffler, of this place, prepared the body for burial.

Mr. Griffith was born at Cookport, Indiana County. His wife died here 14 months ago. The deceased is survived by five children - Mrs. Llamer, mentioned above; Blake Griffith, of Akron, O.; Mrs. Charles Ross and Ellis Griffith, both residing at Cherrytree, and Harry Griffith, residing on the Griffith farm near here. Six grandchildren also survive.
