Holsopple--Dec 29--Funeral services for Herman SWANK, who died here Wednesday night at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kautz, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Stoyestown Lutheran Church, and will be in charge of the Rev. Ralph Harshman, pastor. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows' Cemetery at Stoyestown. Undertaker J. H. Blansett, of Stoyestown will be in charge of the burial.

Mr Swank was born in Somerset on July 7, 1850. He was a lifelong resident of Somerset County. The deceased was a member of the Sons of Veterans and the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. His wife, Mrs. Rebecca (Barnhart) Swank, daughter of the late John Barnhart, of Somerset, died 21 years ago. A son, Harvey Swank, died in infancy. Mr. Swank was a lifelong member of the Stoyestown Lutheran Church.
