|Albert Swank Expires After Long Illness: Treasurer of the Hiram Swank Sons Brick Firm|
Died This Morning, Aged 50 years. Albert F. Swank, Treasurer of the brick manufacturing firm of Hiram Swank's Sons, Inc., died at 10 o'clock this morning at the residence of his parents, Mr and Mrs. Hiram Swank 623 Napoleon Street, Sixth Ward, aged 50 years. Mr Swank's health had been impaired for about two years but he was able to be about until two months ago when he took his bed. His death was due to a complication of diseases. The deceased was born November 11, 1867 at 622 Franklin Street and had always resided in the Sixth Ward. He is survived by his parents and these sisters and brothers: Annie wife of Frederick H. Harmony of 622 Napoleon Street; Milton R. Swank, President of the Swank brick firm; Ida wife of Frank Phillips; Mary Bertha, wife of Louis Zang and Ralph Lloyd Swank, intermarried with Helen Ferguson, all of this city, and James Webster Swank of Las Cruces, N.M. Intermarried with Elizabeth Crotzer, formerly of this city. In 1884 Albert F. Swank was confirmed in the First Lutheran Church by the late Rev Dr Reuben a Fink. His father was a pioneer brick maker of this city and the deceased had been associated with him in business.
The funeral will take place on Sunday or Monday, the services to be in charge of the Rev Robet D. Clare, minister of the First Lutheran Church. Burial will be make in the Grandview Cemetery.
