|Ashville, Pa., March 18 -- P. J. McKenzie was called from this earth to his long home on March 2, 1909, age seventy-two years, eleven months and twenty-five days. He and his invalid wife made their home with their grandson, Clinton Will, of Ashville Borough.|
Deceased was a kind husband, a good neighbor and will be sadly missed in the home. He was buried in Chest Springs Catholic Cemetery, March 5th.
Mr. McKenzie was a resident of Allegheny Township forty-seven years and a charter member of Fair View Grange. Two years ago he sold his farm and moved into this place to make his home with his grandson whom he reared from boyhood to man's estate.

Peter McKenzie, aged 70 years, died at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday evening of heart failure at his home in Ashville. He is survived by his wife. Mr. McKenzie was a well known farmer in Allegheny Township for many years, but had been a resident of Ashville since 1907. The funeral took place Thursday at Chest Springs.
