|Michael Maloy, an aged and highly respected citizen of Loretto, died at his home there at 4 o'clock Friday morning, aged sixty-eight years. Mr. Maloy had been in ill health for some time, death resulting from tuberculosis.|
The deceased was born in the north of the county and had lived practically all his life at Loretto where he conducted a wagon making establishment. He is survived by the following children: Albert, a physician in the West; Oscar of Gallitzin; Vincent of Pittsburg; Harry of Pittsburg; Carrie, wife of John Little of Gallitzin and Joseph and Martina, at home. Mr. Maloy was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where funeral services were conducted Sunday morning with interment in the church cemetery.
