|MINER IS FATALLY INJURED.|
Crushed Under Fall of Slate in Mines at Ehrenfeld, He Died a Few Hours Later at Hospital Here.
Samuel Melon died last evening at the Memorial Hospital a short time after his admittance there from Ehrenfeld. The man was a miner and late yesterday afternoon was caught under a heavy fall of slate in the mines of the Pennsylvania Coal & Coke Company. He was badly crushed about the chest and was almost dead when the train arrived in this city.
His funeral will take place Saturday afternoon from the undertaking establishment of John Henderson and interment will be made at Geistown.
