|Funeral of N. S. George.|
The funeral of the late Rev. Nicholas S. George, who died at his residence night before last, will take place at 1:30 o'clock to-morrow afternoon from the South Fork United Evangelical Church, where the pastor, the Rev. J. Q. A. Curry, will have charge, to be assisted by the Revs. D. S. Poling, of Scalp Level; Franklin E. Hetrick, of the Willow-street Church, this city; B. F. Feit, of Forest County; P. T. Steelsmith, of Conemaugh; Harvey B. Seese, of the Portage U. E. Church, and McIlvar H. Lichliter, of the South Fork M. E. Church.
The active pallbearers will be the six sons of the deceased, while Senator Jacob C. Stineman, Capt. George B. Stineman, J. A. Hildebrand, and Henry Dunmire, of South Fork; P. M. Brown, of Johnstown, and Michael Tully, of Summerhill, will be honorary pallbearers.
A number of friends of the deceased in this place will leave for South Fork on the noon train to-morrow to attend the funeral. Interment will be made in the South Fork Cemetery.
