CHILD DIES OF PARALYSIS

The Attack Followed Diphtheria in Ten-Year-Old Boy.

George Francis, the ten-year-old child of George and Emma Moyer Beiter, of Franklin Borough, died at _ o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. David Over, in Portage, where he went a month ago on a visit. While there he became ill with diphtheria but was slowly recovering when he was stricken with paralysis, which caused his death. The remains were brought to Conemaugh last evening and taken to the Beiter home. The funeral will take place to-morrow morning from St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church at Wilmore, where the Rev. Father James Egan will conduct services. The remains will be taken to Wilmore in train No. 60 in the morning. The deceased is survived by his parents and five brothers and sisters. He was a nephew of Joseph Beiter, the Washington-street hotelkeeper.
