Thomas Hayes, colored, aged 27 years, of Locust street, Franklin Borough, died at his home at 6:15 o'clock last evening. His death was due to pneumonia. The deceased had been ill only a few days. He is survived by his widow, who came here with him about three months ago to live. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Washington Hayes, three brothers and three sisters, all of whom reside in Alabama, also survive. The body was turned over to Undertaker Carl Davis, of Conemaug, to prepare for burial. Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending word from relatives in Alabama. The deceased was employed as a laborer at the Conemaugh Engine House by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company.
