Private Andrew C. Seabolt Slain by Hun Bullet on October 15
LILLY, Dec. 23—Private Andrew C. Seabolt, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Seabolt of this place, was killed in action October 15 in France, according to official word received from the War Department. Private Ross of Beaverdale, who was fighting next to Seabolt, was wounded and is now in a hospital in France.
Private Andrew C. Seabolt enlisted in the service on September 22, 1917, at the age of 26 years. He sailed for overseas in May, 1918.
Private Seabolt was born and reared in Lilly and was held in high esteem by all who know him. His parents and the following brothers and sisters survive: William of McKeesport; Harry of Lilly; Charles of Beaverdale; Mrs. Joseph Maxwell of Lilly; Mrs. Norman George and Mrs. Lena Wagner of Altoona.
