Remarks:   WISSINGER -- Robert Wilson Sr., 75, Salix, died Dec. 8, 1988, at home. Born May 22, 1913, in Salix, son of Elmer Franklin and Sadie Eliza (Rose) Wissinger. Preceded in death by parents; son, Robert W., Jr.; and brothers, Hadley and Charles. Survived by wife, former Elizabeth Campbell and children: Cheryl Wissinger, Salix, and Barbara, wife of Robert Lorenzo, Salix; also grandchildren: Robert W. Wissinger III, Wendy (Fye) Moss, Daniel Fye, Anthony Lorenzo and Vincente Lorenzo. Brother of Esther Crofoot, Dade City, Fla. Member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Salix; Johnstown Lodge 538, F & AM; New Castle Consistory; and Altoona Jaffa Shrine. Lifelong Democrat who served his party for 28 years as Adams Township tax collector. Served as treasurer of Dunlo Volunteer Fire Company for 20 years. Lifetime member of Beaverdale and Elton Sportsmen's Clubs. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Homer J. George Funeral Home, Salix, where Johnstown Lodge 538, F & AM, will hold Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel church, the Rev. Gale D. Boocks. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
