ARIE WISSINGER DIES FOLLOWING AN OPERATION
Well-Known Resident, of Stonycreek Township, Expired at Johnstown City Hospital
Arie L. Wissinger, aged 28 years, of Oakland, Stonycreek Township, died at 7:20 o'clock last evening at the Johnstown City Hospital where he had recently undergone an operation for appendicitis. He was admitted to the hospital on September 17.
Mr. Wissinger was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel L. Wissinger, of Oakland, Stonycreek Township. He was born in Stonycreek Township September 2, 1888, and was united in marriage to Miss Sidnay Callihan, October 5, 1908. The deceased is survived by his parents, his widow, three children -- Merle, Herbert, and Daniel, one sister, Mrs. Edna Strong of Stonycreek Township; one brother, Charles Wissinger, at home. Mr. Wissinger was a member of the Walnut Grove United Brethren Church.
Funeral services will probably be held Wednesday from the home of the deceased's parents. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. The body was removed from the hospital to the parental home by Undertaker John Pendry.
