Mrs. Isaac Wissinger Expired at Home of Daughter
In Conemaugh While on Visit
Mrs. Isaac Wissinger of Pindleton, Blacklick Township, died about 10:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Giffin, of Third street, Conemaugh, from pneumonia, which she contracted since her arrival here a week ago to visit her daughter. Her husband and son arrived just after she had expired. The deceased was formerly Miss Anna Rowland, and was born and reared in Indiana County. She was sixty-seven years old.
Mrs. Wissinger is survived by her husband and two children -- Mrs. W. G. Giffin, of Conemaugh, and Pershing Wissinger, of Pindleton. Two children proceded their mother to the grave. The deceased is also survived by two sisters and two brothers, as follows, Mrs. John Davis, of Ebensburg; Mrs. Thomas Jones, in the West; Elias Rowland, of Mechanicsburg, Indiana County, and the Rev. M. L. Rowland in the West. The funeral services will be held at the Giffin home on Friday evening at 7 o'clock and the remains will be taken to Pindleton next morning. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, after short services in the Bethel Baptist Church.
The deceased was a most excellent Christian woman and was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church.
