Born Dec. 14, 1900, in Conemaugh, son of late Walter E. and Maude (Davis) Wissinger. Preceded in death by wife, former Eunice Davis, and a brother and two sisters. Survived by son, William A. Pearce, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Sophie J. Shaffer, Johnstown, and Warren D. Wissinger, Sidman. Graduate of University of Wisconsin, Chief Statistician of dairy marketing statistics of U. S. Department of Agriculture. Member of Washington, D. C., Society of SAR and LaFayette-Dupont Lodge 19, F & A.M., Washington, D. C. Cremains will be sent to Richland Center, Wisconsin, for graveside service at Pine River Cemetery, Richland County, Wisconsin, at convenience of family, R. Owen Ketterer Funeral Home, Geistown, in charge of local arrangements. Family requests donations be made to Arbutus Park Manor.
