MRS. WISSINGER CALLED BY DEATH
Scalp Level Woman Had Not Enjoyed Good Health Since 1918
Mrs. Robert L. Wissinger, aged 60 years, who had not enjoyed good health for the last 15 years, died last evening at her home, 529 Bedford street, Scalp Level, her death being due to a complication of ailments. Mrs. Wissinger was a member of the Scalp Level Evangelical Church, where funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon by the Rev. W. W. Hall, pastor, and the Rev. W. W. Elrick, of Moxham, with interment in Richland Cemetery. Lloyd Shanx, mortician, will convey the body to the church at 10 o’clock, the services to start an hour later.
Amanda (Hershberger) Wissinger was a daughter of Jonas and Mary (Moore) Hershberger and was born in 1873. She and Mr. Wissinger were married in this city in August, 1894, by the Rev. A. J. Beal, of the Albright Church. The deceased is survived by her husband, five children, nine grandchildren, a brother, James Hershberger, and two sisters, Mrs. William Barnett and Miss Mary Hershberger, all residing in Scalp Level. The sons and daughters are Mrs. Mary Phillips, Merrill Wissinger, Mrs. Willard Helchel, and Robert Wissinger, Jr., all of Scalp Level, and Mrs. E. D. Grimison, of New York City.
