Remarks:   STOUFFER -- William A., 74, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord June 16, 2001, at home. Born Oct. 5, 1926, in Johnstown, son of late Benjamin and Gertrude (Gardner) Stouffer. Preceded in death by sister, Betty Walters, and brothers, Herbert and Charles. Survived by wife of 53 years, former Marian Zack; children, Debra Stouffer; Judy, wife of Lance Long; and William, married to former Carol Macesich, all of Johnstown; and grandchildren, William and Travis Stouffer; and Courtney and Casey Long, with whom he was very close. Brother of Alice Walker, Huntingdon, and Georgia Landis, Central City. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill will be sadly missed and forever remembered and loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, extended family and many friends. Member of Homestead Avenue United Methodist Church and VFW Menoher Post 155. Graduate of Westmont High school, Class of 1945. Retired overhead crane man in the car shop of Bethlehem Steel Corp., with 37 years' service. World War II Marine Corps veteran, having served in the Pacific Theatre. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Geisel Funeral Home, 734 Bedford St., Dale, where funeral service will be held in the Geisel-Devlin Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. David Butler. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
