REFFNER, Margaret (Rager)

Mrs. Margaret Reffner, widow of Max Reffner, late of Conemaugh, died at her home on First street, Conemaugh, yesterday morning at 7:30 o'clock.
Mrs. Reffner, whose maiden name was Rager, was born in Jackson Township, in April, in 1842. Her parents -- Mr. and Mrs. Philip Rager -- died a number of years ago. In 1860, the deceased united in marriage with Max Reffner, and they located in Jackson Township, where they resided until the spring of 1890, when they moved in Conemaugh; later in that year Mr. Reffner was killed by a P.R.R. engine at Nineveh.
Mrs. Reffner was the mother of nine children, two of whom are dead. The living are: William, car inspector for the P. R. R. at Conemaugh, and John, George, Rachael, Mark, Jerry, and Burt, at home.
The funeral will take place at 9 o'clock to-morrow morning from the late home of the deceased. The remains will lie interred in Munday's Cemetery, Jackson Township.
