|Suicide of an Altoona Woman.|
Mrs. Annie W. Abel died at the Altoona Hospital Monday night, the victim of opium poison, and the indications are that the drug was administered by her own hand. The Coroner held an inquest on the remains Tuesday morning. Mrs. Abel was a woman of prepossessing appearances, and about thirty years of age. Her maiden name was Watt. She was married to Joseph Abel a number of years ago; he left Altoona about 1885. Two little girls are left to mourn the departure of a mother. Of late Mrs. Abel, together with her children, had been making her home with her parents on Third Avenue, Altoona.
