AN EBENSBURG DEATH

William R. Jones Passes Away at Home of Daughter, Mrs. Roberts - Funeral Yesterday.

Ebensburg, Sept. 26. - William R. Jones, a, farmer, and one of the oldest residents of Cambria Township, died about 5 o'clock p. m. Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert S. Roberts, in South Ebensburg. Mr. Jones had been ill for some weeks, and diseases common to those of his age caused his death. He was in his eighty-second year. Mr. Jones had resided with his daughter since his wife died some years ago. Funeral services were held at the Roberts home at 1 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. Jenkins, pastor of both the South and North Ebensburg Congregational churchs. Interment will be made in Lloyd's Cemetery.
