CONSTABLE, Kate (Rager)

Mrs. G.W. Constable.

Paralysis, from which she had suffered for a week, caused the death of Mrs. Kate Rager Constable, wife of George W. Constable, at her home, 346 Ohio street, Seventeenth Ward, at 10 o'clock this morning, in her 78th year. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Rager and was born in Jackson Township. Besides her husband, who is a Civil War veteran, Mrs. Constable is survived by a daughter, Florence, wife of William Golden, of Ohio street; three sons--Norman Constable, of the Eighth Ward, and Manson [Ed. Lawrence Manse] and Ulysses Constable [Ed. Strayer], of Walnut Grove--and by two brothers and two sisters. The funeral will take place on Sunday, the services to be conducted by the Rev. C.A. Hartung, minister of the Grove-avenue Methodist Episcopal Church, of which the deceased was a communicant. Burial will be made in Grandview Cemetery.
