Remarks:   PARKS -- James E. "Jimmie," 80, 732 Franklin St., died Feb. 23, 1972, at Memorial Hospital. Born June 20, 1891, in Johnstown, son of John T. and Alice T. (Wilson) Parks. Preceded in death by parents, and stepfather, Alonzo Hoff. Survived by widow, former Sara Young; son, James Calvin, San Francisco, Calif.; and daughter, Helen, wife of Elwood Paul, Jr., Bethel Park, Pa.; also six grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and three step-sisters, Mrs. Eva Ickes, Wilmington, Del., Miss Mary and Miss Ruth Hoff, both of 528 1/2 Wood St. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Retired former city treasurer. Formerly associated with C. A. Young Co. Registered pharmacist. Veteran of World War I. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in The Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Dr. Walden M. Holl. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Sunnehanna Lodge 742 F. & A.M. will hold service at 9 p.m. Friday, at mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Masonic Temple Building Fund.
