FOX COUPLE, EBENSBURG, TO NOTE DATE

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Fox will mark the golden anniversary of their wedding Tuesday.

The event will be observed June 10 with a high mass of thanksgiving at 10 a.m. in Holy Name Catholic Church. A family dinner will follow and a reception will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the parochial school.

The celebrants' 12 living children are expected to attend the celebration, marking the first time in 15 years they all have been together.

WED IN GALLITZIN

Mr. Fox and the former Mae Buck exchanged nuptial vows June 6, 1911 in Gallitzin. They set up housekeeping here and have resided here all their married life except for a few years when they lived in Colver.

The Foxes are the parents of 13 children, 12 of whom survive. They include Sister May Urban, RSM, Mt. Aloysius College, Cresson; Frances, wife of Stanley Shura, Juniata; Anicetus W., Chamblee, Ga.; Irene, wife of Alex White, Portage; John, with the U.S. Air Force in England; Clair, Springfield Gardens, N.Y.; Richard, Cleveland, and Charles, Edward, Donald, Helen, wife of Paul Bracken and Anne Marie, wife of Bernard Westrick, all of Ebensburg.

There are also 35 grandchildren. Mr. Fox's brother, William H. of Detroit, who attended the couple as best man, also is expected to attend the festivities. Mrs. Fox's sister, Lottie Buck, who served as maid of honor, died some years ago.

Born Mar. 21, 1886 in West Carroll Township, Mr. Fox is the son of the late Henry and Margaret (Biller) Fox. His wife, daughter of A. V. and Lucinda (Hott) Buck, was born June 21, 1889 in Gallitzin. Both are in excellent health.

Mr. Fox, a blacksmith for the past 55 years, still is active in his trade. He and his wife enjoy reading and travelling. They take at least one trip each year.
