Mrs. Frank Demoizes

WINDBER -– Mrs. Rose (Onusic) Demoizes, 54, wife of Frank Demoizes of 201 Eighth Street, died last night in Windber Hospital after an extended illness. She had been a patient at the institution the past 10 days. Surviving are her husband and these children: Frank J., Rose, Ann, Joseph and Christina Demoizes, all at home. She was a sister of John Onusic, Lloydell. Funeral arrangements are in charge of J. C. Kepko, Windber mortician.

Kenneth E. Meyers

BERLIN –- Kenneth Eric Meyers, infant son of William K. and Ellen (Orvada) Meyers, died this morning at the parental home in Northampton Township. The child recently underwent an operation in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md. Surviving are the parents and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Meyers, Northampton Townshipr,[sic] and the great-grandfather, Peter Meyers, Meyersdale.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the J. N. Johnson & Son Funeral Home where by Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger, pastor of the Mt. Lebanon Reformed Church. Interment will be in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.

Miss Rose V. Risban

CRESSON –- Miss Rose V. Risban, 58, died Saturday at her home in Munster Township after an extended illness. She was a registered nurse and was stationed at a Philadelphia hospital for a number of years. Miss Risban was a daughter of Anthony T. and Mary (Kearney) Risban and was born in Munster Township on April 10, 1882. Surviving are these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Thomas Bradley, Altoona; Sister M. Dalaria, stationed in Wilkinsburg; Mrs. George J Baum, Cresson; Miss Marie Risban, Warren; Mrs. C. E. Malone, Belleveue and Leo Risban, Wilkinsburg.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning in St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Brigid’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Lilly, under the direction of Norman P. Casher, local mortician.
